Terms of use
Last updated: [date]
These terms govern your use of Tickerwise, operated by [legal entity name], [registered address] ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
Tickerwise is a research workspace that organises publicly available information on Indian listed companies: exchange filings, XBRL financial statements, shareholding, prices and corporate events, and tools to screen, compare and track them.
2. No investment advice
Nothing in Tickerwise is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. Read the Disclaimer. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
3. Your account
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- One person per account. Do not share or resell access.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute data from Tickerwise.
- Do not try to break, overload or bypass the security of the service.
- Exports are for your own research.
5. Data and accuracy
Data comes from exchanges, regulators and other public sources and from automated processing that can contain errors, delays or omissions. Figures marked AI-generated or unverified are especially likely to be wrong. Always check the original filing.
6. Plans and payment
[Describe free and paid plans, billing, renewals, refunds and taxes once pricing is final.]
7. Intellectual property
The software, design and our own analysis belong to us. Public filings remain the property of their owners. Your notes and watchlists are yours.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from use of the service or reliance on its data. [Cap of liability, e.g. fees paid in the last 12 months.]
9. Changes and termination
We may change these terms with notice in the product. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city] have exclusive jurisdiction.
